Elena Hoyt is a passionate graphic designer currently residing in Twin Cities, MN with her husband, two children, and a loving golden doodle. She is specializing in packaging design but has demonstrated experience across multiple channels for print design, web and design collateral for national and international shows. She is always open to and seeking new trends, fresh perspective and opportunities to learn. She is inspired by every day little wonders like a starry night, freshly fallen snow, a new song on the radio, a captivating new book or her daughter's new dance. She believes that our life is full of inspiration, we just need to keep our eyes open for it.

Always challenging her limits, Elena has designed multiple exclusive packaging for big store retailers like Target, Walmart, Costco (USA, Canada and International), Sams Club, Smart & Final, Price Mart, Crate & Barrel among others, while effectively incorporating the brand of the company's product line with the needs of the retailer. Elena collaborates well with marketing, purchasing and sales rep teams to ensure smooth and timely implementation of each stage of the project. Elena has been successfully collaborating with several print company partners on die lines, color corrections  and final art standards.

Elena is proficient in illustrator, indesign, photoshop,acrobat, excel, and others as needed. She attends Adobe Max conferences to keep her skills up to date and to get exposure to experts in the trade. She has been attending industry trade shows, such as International Housewares show, to deepen product knowledge that can inspire her design. She constantly reviews social media to keep a pulse on public interest.

Elena applies design experience in other areas of her life. She has supported various organizations involving her kids' education and activities by provide graphic design collateral. She has applied her skills to various home improvement projects, invitations, and holiday materials.
